Bambi and Dandy[2018] are two omni-directional, battery powered robotic platforms developed for the Institute of Architecture at dieAngewandte in Vienna.
They can carry up to 30kg, drive at human jogging speed and operate continuously for up to 6 hours.
Due to academic budget limitations, they are made exclusively with off the shelve parts and 3D prints.
They can be operated by a custom Android app also taking care of rudimentary telemetry.
